The Ministry of Health and Wellness has advised that The Glebe, Edgar Cochrane and St. Philip Polyclinics will close tomorrow, Wednesday, February 17.
This is to facilitate the COVID-19 vaccination programme for persons over age 70, as well as for those aged 18 to 69 who have non-communicable diseases. Vaccinations for individuals who fit into these two categories are being done by appointment only.
Persons should wait until they are contacted before going to the polyclinics. This is in an effort to ensure that members of the public have an opportunity to receive their vaccinations in an orderly and transparent manner, recognising that some groups will inherently have more risks than others.
The Ministry thanks the public for its cooperation in this matter.
