The Ministry of Health is reminding the public that the Vashti Inniss Empowerment Centre located at Ladymeade Gardens, Jemmotts Lane will remain closed for the rest of the week.

The Centre was closed from Monday, February 6, to facilitate industrial cleaning to the building.

The programmes that will be affected by this closure will be the HIV/AIDS Food Bank, The National HIV/AIDS Hotline and the offices of UGLAAB, Family Care and CARE Barbados.

The Ministry of Health has apologised for any inconvenience which the closure may cause and has advised clients in need of urgent food assistance to contact the Ministry of Health at 467-9457 or 467-9461.
