The Comptroller of Customs has reminded registrants that they are still experiencing technical problems with the VAT and Excise Tax Administration System (VETAS), and as a result, external users will not be able to access the system.?? Consequently, until further notice, all returns must be filed on paper.??

Registrants who are required to file their VAT returns in December are asked to submit them in hard copy to the VAT Division, 3rd Floor, Weymouth Corporate Centre, on or before December 21.??

Blank return forms may be obtained from the VAT Division; the Customs and Excise Department Headquarters, 2nd Floor West Wing, Warrens Office Complex; or Customer Service, Inland Revenue Department, Ground Floor, Treasury Building.
