Local vendors are being urged to come out and attend any of the two town hall meetings being held to sensitize the public about petro-based plastics, and their alternatives.

The first meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 17, at the Graydon Sealy Secondary School, Paddock Road, St. Michael, and the second on Wednesday, April 24, at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre, Two Mile Hill, St. Michael.  Both meetings begin at 6:30 p.m.

Those attending will be able to get a firsthand look at the alternative products available, and interact with retailers to see what would be the best fit for their businesses.
