The Barbados Association of Guidance Counsellors (BAGC) will launch its National Career Showcase tomorrow, Wednesday, March 23, for third to sixth form students selecting subject options for the Caribbean Examination Council’s (CXC) programme of study, or exploring their options for further academic studies.

Education Officer (Secondary), in the Ministry of Education, Technological and Vocational Training, Cyrilene Griffith-Willoughby, and President of the BAGC and Guidance Counsellor at St. George Secondary School, Dr. Patricia Welch, will address the event at 10:00 a.m.

Also expected at the launch will be representatives from the Barbados Public Workers Credit Union, Student Revolving Loan Fund, and Careers of the Future.

The Barbados Association of Guidance Counsellors is a professional body whose mission is to contribute to excellence in education.

The organisation is currently planning for the actual showcase to be hosted from Wednesday, March 30, to Thursday, March 31, on the Microsoft Teams platform from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
