Visits by the public to geriatric facilities and the Psychiatric Hospital will continue to be suspended, until further notice.
The Ministry of Health and Wellness explained that this was still necessary to protect the very vulnerable populations at the public geriatric facilities and at the Psychiatric Hospital by preventing visits to these institutions.
“We are also recommending the same position continue for private geriatric facilities,” the Ministry stated. The public will be advised when there is a resumption of visiting hours at these institutions.
