The National Council for Science and Technology (NCST) is looking for volunteers for some of its programmes such as the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (S.T.E.M.) Summer Camp and S.T.E.M. Clubs within primary schools.

Volunteers should be young school leavers between the ages of 18 and 25, who have a strong background in and a passion for any S.T.E.M. discipline.

They should also possess good oral communication skills. Additionally, the ideal volunteer should feel comfortable interacting with children. 

S.T.E.M. professionals of any age who are interested in mentoring the youth are also invited to volunteer, as well as persons with a knack for the Arts and those interested in giving back to the community.

Individuals who fit into any of these categories can send an e-mail to ncst@barbados.gov.bb, outlining their interest in participating in these programmes.

Information should consist of a short curriculum vitae, as well as a note outlining any skills they possess and how they can be utilized by the NCST.
