The public is invited to join the Vulnerable Persons’ Committee at the Alexandra School, Queen Street, Speightstown, St. Peter, for its second Public Awareness Initiative.
This activity, which will take place on Saturday, June 22, beginning at 1:00 p.m., will bring awareness to the role, function and importance of the Committee. There will be a showcase of resource material in addition to a skit simulating an emergency evacuation.
The Committee was established by the National Assistance Board to compile a list of vulnerable persons who would require assistance in the event of a disaster.
