A section of Walkers, St. George along Highway 4B will be milled and paved now that repairs to the broken road edge along that road are finished.
C.O Williams Construction Ltd, in association with the Ministry of Transport and Works (MTW) will begin milling tomorrow, Friday, September 27, 2024 from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Paving Unit of MTW will pave the road after milling has been completed.
A crew from MTW’s Golden Ridge Depot completed construction of the retaining wall and footpath on the broken section of road; the roadway will now be reinstated.
Motorists are asked to note that the road will be reduced to a single lane and are advised to be cautious when travelling through the work site.
