As part of the celebration to mark World Diabetes Day on November 14, Warrens Polyclinic will hold two presentations and a demonstration on the management and care of diabetes tomorrow, Friday, November 13 at 9:00 a.m.

The programme will include a video presentation on "The Care of the Diabetic’s Foot", a presentation of "Active" Blood Glucose Monitoring machines, to be given by Stokes and Bynoe, and a demonstration on "Taking Proper Care of the Feet" by students from the Sab Shab Sadie School of Beauty in Collymore Rock.??

Meanwhile, Randal Phillips Polyclinic in Oistin’s, Christ Church, will commemorate the Day on Tuesday, November 17, at 10.00 a.m. with two presentations on "Maintaining a Healthy Lifestyle – An Ounce of Prevention" and "Diabetes and You". These will be given by Health Sister Blondelle Mullin and Pharmacist, Lennox Prescod, respectively.

World Diabetes Day will be officially commemorated this Saturday November 14, under the theme "Diabetes Education and Prevention".
