To highlight World Diabetes Day on Saturday, November 14, the Edgar Cochrane Polyclinic, in Wildey, St. Michael, has organised a week of activities under the theme: Healthy Living and Diabetes.

The activities begin on Sunday, November 8, with a church service at the Wesleyan Holiness Church, Brittons New Road, Brittons Hill at 8:00 a.m.

On Monday, November 9, there will be line dancing at the polyclinic from 4:30 p.m., and on Tuesday, November 10, the polyclinic will be the venue for a Market Day, starting at 9:00 a.m.

From 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 11, there will be lectures on Healthy Living at the polyclinic and the next day, Thursday, November 12, will be Open Day, with outdoor interactive health lectures and health checks.

On Friday, November 13, the polyclinic staff will take its outreach programme to the St. Barnabas Senior Citizens Day Care Centre. Activities climax on Saturday, November 14, with a family fun day at the King George V Memorial Park, St. Philip, beginning at 9:30 a.m.
