Healthy Eating will be the focus of a Wellness Fair being hosted by the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, in collaboration with the Barbados Agricultural Management Corporation (BAMC), on Friday, December 2.??
It will be held at the BAMC’s Head Office in Warrens, St. Michael, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.??
An array of local produce and food products will be available for sampling. There will be free health checks, and Barbadians are being encouraged to take advantage of the cholesterol, HIV/AIDS and blood sugar testing. Patrons will be able to treat themselves to aesthetics such as skin care. Entertainment will be in the form of dramatic presentations.??
