The staff and management of the Eunice Gibson Polyclinic, Warrens, St. Michael, is inviting the public to participate in their annual Health and Wellness Week of activities at the polyclinic from November 26 to 29, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. each day.

On Monday, November 26, members of the public will learn more about Preventing Domestic Violence and Knowing your numbers for NCDs, while on Tuesday, November 27, Bed Bugs; Nutrition for the Prevention of Childhood Obesity; and Reading for the Very Young will be discussed.

On Wednesday, November 28, lectures will be given on the topics: Dying to be Beautiful; Chronic Disease Support; and the Stanford Chronic Disease Self-Management Programme. That same day at 3:30 p.m., a portrait of the Late Eunice Gibson, painted by artist Don Small, will be unveiled at the polyclinic.

The following day, Thursday, November 29, there will be an Open Day at the polyclinic, as well as lectures on: Mental Health in the Elderly and Domestic Violence. Screenings will also be conducted for NCDs.
