As activities continue in celebration of World Food Day, which takes place this Friday, October 16, the issue of food security will come under the microscope, when the World Food Day Panel holds a discussion on "Achieving Food Security in Times of Crisis".

It will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, October 13, at the Princess Margaret Secondary School, starting at 7:00 p.m. and the panel will include Food and Agricultural Organisation Representative, Emmerson Beckles; Director of the Inter-American Institute for Co-operation on Agriculture, Joseph Peltier; Chief Executive Officer of the Barbados Agricultural Society, James Paul and Chief Environmental Health Officer from the Ministry of Health, Tyrone Applewhaite.

Members of the public are invited to attend.
