The Ministry of Health’s Men’s Health groups, in collaboration with the Pan-American Health Organisation and the Ministry of Family, will host a rally this Friday, March 25, to raise awareness about the White Ribbon Campaign.

Individuals, men in particular, are invited to come out in support of the rally to be held at the Jackie Opel Amphitheatre, General Post Office, Cheapside from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.????

The White Ribbon Campaign is an international effort to engage more men and boys to help end violence against women, sexual assault, domestic violence, sex trafficking and sexual harassment.?? Visiting consultant and Executive Director of White Ribbon Canada, Todd Minerson will address the rally.

According to the United Nations Development Fund for Women, sexual violence against females is high across the Caribbean, with all CARICOM countries showing higher than the global average per capita rates.
