The Ministry of Health and Wellness has advised that due to the inclement weather expected to affect Barbados on Friday, July 2, and the possibility of further deterioration, the main COVID Testing Site at the Wildey Gymnasium in St. Michael, will be closed from today Thursday, July 1, until further notice.
This temporary closure is to allow for time to disassemble and secure infrastructure and equipment. The Branford Taitt Polyclinic and the Eunice Gibson Polyclinic will remain open for testing, as long as conditions permit, to accommodate urgent cases.
The Ministry of Health and Wellness is working assiduously to ensure safety while providing health care services to the public.
