Activities to mark the 25th Anniversary of the Winston Scott Polyclinic will continue next week.

On Tuesday, May 17, the health care institution at Jemmotts Lane will launch its Asthma Programme, targeting persons in its catchment area, as well as those who use its fast track programme. This event will start at 3:30 p.m. in the conference room of the polyclinic.

Customer Appreciation Day will be on Thursday, May 19 and will involve a presentation of equipment to the School Eye Clinic by the Lions Club, at 9:30 a.m.??

Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Health, Senator Irene Sandiford-Garner will receive the donation on behalf of the Ministry of Health and the Polyclinic.

Additionally, on this occasion, staff will present a flat screen television, to be placed on the wall in the patients’ waiting area of the General Practice Clinic.

According to the Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Ingrid Cumberbatch, this is being done as part of continuous efforts to improve the patient experience at the health care facility and to use media as a mode of patient education and for health promotion.
