As part of its 25th Anniversary Celebrations, the Winston Scott Polyclinic will host a free Children’s Health Fair on Saturday, September 24, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

This year’s event will be held under the theme Today’s Children, Tomorrow’s Future and will utilise all disciplines within the polyclinic.

The fair is aimed at increasing public awareness regarding health and safety issues. It will focus on promoting healthy communities consisting of happy healthy children.

It is also designed to promote Governmental and Non-Governmental services offered for children.?? Parents will be sensitised on Non-Communicable Diseases and the associated risk factors among other related topics.

Activities for the day include eye examinations, dental checks and asthma education. Immunisations for Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis, Polio, Chicken Pox, Measles, Mumps and Rubella will also be offered. ??Other activities will include a Jumping Tent, a skipping competition, face painting, belly dancing and line dancing.
