In order to ensure the safety and health of patrons at this year’s Crop Over festival, the Warrens Polyclinic will be hosting a one-day workshop on Food Handling and Food Safety for operators, concessionaires, food handlers and attendants on Thursday, July 23.

The session will be held at the polyclinic in St. Michael, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.??

A key aim of the exercise is to update this category of persons on the correct procedures for handling food and drink and to outline the required hygiene practices for preparing and serving meals to patrons.

Environmental Health Officers will also be on hand to provide demonstrations.??

All persons involved in Crop Over activities at the National Stadium and along Bank Hall Cross Road, are encouraged to attend.
