An invitation has gone out to food manufacturers, especially those involved in microenterprises, to attend a Barbados National Standards Institution’s (BNSI) workshop on Monday, May 21.
The free workshop, which will be put on in collaboration with C and G International Inc., will be held in the auditorium at the Warrens Office Complex, Warrens, St. Michael, from 1 to 4 pm.?? It is open to all food manufacturers and will focus on the ISO 20000 standard -Food Safety Management Systems for All Manufacturers.
Issues to be addressed include: market demand for food safety; structure and requirements of ISO 22000; management responsibility and resource management; and implementation of the standard.??
