Nurses who hold managerial positions in the public health sector will receive instruction on how to improve the implementation of health care programmes across the island tomorrow, Thursday, July 26, when a workshop is held for that purpose.

The session, which has the theme Improving Programme Implementation Quality in Primary Health Care, is being organised by the Ministry of Health in collaboration with the National Initiative for Service Excellence (NISE). It will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the NISE Training Room, Suite 102, Building No. 4, Harbour Industrial Park, St. Michael.

Speakers at the event will include Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Joy St. John; Deputy Chief Public Health Nurse, Elma Payne; Senior Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Elizabeth Ferdinand; and CEO of NISE, Kim Tudor.
