Access to Labour Justice: Evaluation and Strengthening of the Employment Rights Tribunal, is the title of a workshop to be conducted by the Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Third Sector, tomorrow, Tuesday, September 13, at the Warren’s Office Complex, Warren’s St. Michael.
The workshop, which targets employers’ representatives; employees’ representatives and members of the Employment Rights Tribunal (ERT), aims to improve the effectiveness of the tribunal. Additionally, its main objectives are to strengthen labour dispute prevention and resolution and to improve access to labour justice in Barbados.
It will get under way with an opening ceremony at 8:30 a.m., on the First Floor, Amphitheatre, Warren’s Office Complex. Minister of Labour, Social Security and Third Sector, Colin Jordan will deliver the feature address.
