Barbados and members of the international community will celebrate World Food Day, this Sunday, October 16, under the theme: Climate is Changing, Food and Agriculture Must Too.

To mark the occasion, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food, Fisheries, and Water Resource Management (MAFFW), in collaboration with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, will host a number of activities from Friday, October 14, to Thursday, October 20.

On Friday, October 14, the Ministry will host a Farmers’ Market and Culinary Exhibition at its Graeme Hall, Christ Church headquarters.

During this event, the MAFFW will highlight the commencement of the second year of the media campaign to promote food and nutrition security in the island, under the theme: Grow Well, Eat Well, Live Well – Right Here in Bim.
