Minister of Youth, Family and Sports, Dr. Esther Byer Suckoo, chatting with students enrolled in Camp Enterprise??at its launch earlier this month.

Some secondary school children who have been practising business skills at a summer camp will reap special reward for their astute achievement during tomorrow’s 1:00 p.m. closing ceremony at Queen’s College, Husbands, St. James.

The Youth Entrepreneurship Scheme will present three individual and two group awards to participants in its Camp Enterprise, held at that venue over the past four weeks. Awards will be given for most outstanding male and female campers, as well as the individual who is most likely to become an entrepreneur. The most successful and innovative businesses will also be rewarded.??

Minister of Youth, Family and Sports, Dr. Esther Byer Suckoo, will present the awards to these winners representing the six groups, whose business power point presentations will be a high point of the function.

Now in its second year, the camp successfully offered 63 young men and women the opportunity to learn about entrepreneurship and engage in creating and operating a business.
