The Ministry of Agriculture, Food, Fisheries and Water Resource Management will soon launch a Youth Agri-preneurship programme, geared towards individuals between 16 and 35.

The Youth Agri-preneurship programme will focus on training young people in the practical science and business of agriculture and the development of alternative agro- industries in food products.

Participants will have the opportunity to participate in alternative forms of agriculture including alternative energy use and the use of technologies, applying business principals, research methods and scientific ways to enhance agriculture.

Interested persons are asked to email for further information including the application form. The deadline for submission of entries is Friday, May 15.
