Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley and Secretary-General of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), Rebeca Grynspan, have received copies of the UNCTAD 15 Youth Forum Declaration and the Civil Society Declaration.
They were presented with copies of the two documents today by Forum Lead for the Youth Forum, Roshanna Trim, and youth organiser, LeAundre Knight, while Officer in Charge at the Caribbean Policy Development Centre, Richard Jones, handed over the Civil Society document.
Ms. Mottley and Ms. Grynspan thanked those presenting the documents and those involved in the process for their hard work and gave their commitment to reading the important documents.
The three-day UNCTAD Youth Forum was held from September 16 to 18, under the theme: Pull up: Change Di Riddim, while the three-day Civil Society Forum was held from September 22 to 24.
