A total of 267 persons who underwent training as part of the Youth Mainstreaming Programme will graduate this Saturday, April 2, during a ceremony at the Savannah Hotel, Hastings, Christ Church.

The graduands participated in the programme’s 25 courses, including Events Management, Computer Repairs, Nail Care, Electrical Installation, Digital Media, International Cuisine, Child Care Management, Care of the Older Adults and Autotronics.

This programme was started by the Division of Youth in June 2008 and seeks, among other things, to empower young people to realise their fullest potential, while promoting the building of social capital. After the training, the students are expected to find employment or start their own businesses.
