Persons interested in obtaining work in the hospitality sector in the United States of America (USA) can now do so through the Barbados Employment and Career Counselling Service (BECCS).
The department is requesting persons to submit résumés for consideration for work in the categories of housekeeping, cooks, servers, front office, and bussers.
Workers should have at least one full year’s experience in the position for which they are applying. Additionally, they must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to travel to the USA.
Applicants must be 18 years or older, have a valid Barbados passport, the ability to obtain a clean Certificate of Character and must also be free of any infractions outside the jurisdiction of Barbados.
All résumés should be sent to beccsjobs@labour.gov.bb by Monday, January 31, 2022. Prospective candidates must place the specific position for which they are applying, for example Housekeeping, in the subject area of the email.
