The Barbados Drug Service advises the public that the anti-diabetic medication Diamicron MR 60mg (30 tablets) has been repackaged as Servier Gliclazide 60mg MR (30 tablets).
Instead of the original orange and white box with black and grey text, the medication is now available in a grey and white box with blue, green and black text.
The Barbados Drug Service assures the public that Servier Gliclazide 60mg MR (30 tablets) is of the same standardised quality, has the same scored tablets with the same active ingredient as Diamicron MR 60mg (30 tablets), and therefore should be taken in the same manner as recommended by the doctor.
