Members of the public are invited to look out for the National Conservation Commission’s (NCC) Mobile Pop-Up Plant Shops at select venues.

The first of these mobile shops comes off tomorrow, Saturday, January 14, at Brandons Beach, from 7:00 to 9:00 a.m.; Jubilee Gardens, The City, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., and at Independence Square, The City, from noon to 2:30 p.m.

These will be followed by mobile shops on Saturday, January 28, in the Oistins Bay Gardens, Oistins, Christ Church, from 7:00 to 9:00 a.m.; Hastings Rocks, Hastings, Christ Church, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., and Brownes Beach Car Park, Bay Street, St. Michael, from 12:00 to 2:30 p.m.

The final ones will be held on Saturday, February 4, at the Folkestone Park and Marine Reserve, Holetown, St. James (close to the road), from 7:00 to 11:00 a.m.; and at Fitts Village Esplanade, Fitts Village, St. James, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The initiative is designed to make it more convenient for plant lovers to purchase their plants, and provide a unique, engaging, physical shopping experience.

According to a statement from the NCC, the mobile shops will allow the Commission to bring products to customers at several locations on designated days.
