The Department of Archives in collaboration with the Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc. will host a free Genealogy Marketplace interested persons who want to trace their ancestral roots.
It will be held on Thursday, August 3 at the Department’s Black Rock location from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
During the day’s activity, patrons will get the opportunity to learn more about Bajan, Brazilian and African connections, play indigenous games, and sample tasty Caribbean treats. There will also be DNA kits for sale.
