Members of the media are invited to attend a Tsunami-Ready Sensitisation workshop and training session on Tuesday, September 12, at the Department of Emergency Management (DEM), “George Greave Building”, No. 24 Warrens Industrial Park, Warrens, St. Michael, from 9:00 a.m.
The DEM and the Coastal Zone Management Unit (CZMU), in collaboration with their national and international partners, UNESCO/IOC-led Intergovernmental Coordination Group for the Caribbean and Adjacent Regions (ICG/CARIBE-EWS), will conduct the training.
Each media house is kindly asked to nominate two representatives to benefit from the training workshop.
