(GP)

Beginning Monday, September 25, all persons will be able to pin their Trident ID cards at several locations across Barbados.

Persons are reminded to pin their cards in order to take advantage of the services being offered via the Trident ID Card. The first service being rolled out is the new “Tap and Go” system being introduced by the Barbados Transport Board.

Pinning of the Trident ID cards will require persons to present their card to the operator at any of the pinning locations. The card is placed in the card reader and a four-digit PIN is entered. The same four-digit PIN is again entered for confirmation.

The Electoral and Boundaries Commission (EBC) will facilitate persons activating the PIN feature of their Trident ID cards, at its offices, Warrens Tower II, Warrens, St. Michael, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Mondays to Fridays.

In addition, the EBC will set up pinning stations at the following four Transport Board locations, which will operate from September 25 to December 29, 2023, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Mondays to Saturdays:
