The Ministry of Transport and Works (MTW), in collaboration with its contractor C.O. Williams Construction Limited, has commenced milling and paving in Mango Lane, Chapel Street, Archers Lane, Bovell Road and Godding Alley in St. Peter, from today. This work is being done under the $30 million Accelerated Mill and Pave Programme.
Work on Chapel Street and Godding Alley will be carried out nightly, from 7:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., while repairs on Mango Lane, Bovell Road, and Archers Lane will be done during the day, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
MTW urges motorists to obey the signage and directions of the traffic wardens, and to exercise caution while travelling through the work sites. The Ministry also apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks the public for its patience and cooperation.
