The National Petroleum Corporation (NPC) has advised that during its road works along Broad Street this morning, Tuesday, March 26, challenges were encountered due to the subsurface conditions at that time.
This resulted in NPC’s continued presence on site, past the scheduled work closure time of 6:00 a.m.
This was done to maintain service to its valued customers and to ensure the maintenance of safety in gas operations, together with the safety of members of the public.
The challenges have been rectified and the original work hours of 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. will resume from this evening, Tuesday, March 26.
NPC apologises for any inconvenience that may have been caused this morning.
