Pothole patching will continue every night this week along Highway 5 from the junction of Edgerton Road, St. George, to the Boarded Hall Roundabout in Christ Church.
From Monday, October 7, to Friday, October 11, between 7:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., a team from C.O Williams Construction Ltd will carry out the work.
Road users should expect delays and intermittent closures during these times. Motorists will be asked to divert tonight at Edgerton Road, through St. David’s, Edey Village and then onto Boarded Hall. Those coming from the direction of Bridgetown may divert at Boarded Hall, through Edey Village and St. David’s and onto Edgerton Road.
As the patching progresses, the diversion route may change. However, flag personnel and diversion signs will be in place.
The Ministry of Transport and Works apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks members of the public for their cooperation and understanding.
