The Barbados Government Information Service (BGIS) and the Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) have formed a partnership to honour the top 100 most influential and respected Barbadians.
Members of the public are being encouraged to nominate those Barbadians who in their opinion are deserving of this award.?? To this end, come Saturday, November 14, they will have the opportunity to nominate their choice of a Great Barbadian. This
promotional event will take place in National Heroes’ Square, the City, from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00p.m.
Nominees must have made a significant contribution to their communities or country, or have simply overcome obstacles and made outstanding accomplishments in their lives.
Nominations may also be made online at www.100greatbarbadians.com.?? The deadline for receipt of nominations for the 100 Great Barbadians’ Campaign is Friday, November 27.
