(BGIS Archives)

Several government agencies, including the National Cultural Foundation, the Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation, and the Department of Archives, have come together to conduct a 1937 Riots Memory Project to commemorate, July 26, as the Day of National Significance.

To this end, they are inviting persons who have memories of this ‘watershed moment’ in Barbadian history, or know of anyone who was involved in anyway, to share their memories of these riots.

Interested persons should call Michelle Springer at 417-6628, or email michelle-springer@ncf.bb.
