Contractors have resumed work on Phase 3 of the expansion plan for the Accident and Emergency Department (AED) at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH), as part of an overall programme to enhance service delivery in AED.
From Wednesday, August 2 to Friday, August 4, the contractor will be conducting construction work in the department, and as such, there will be some disruption, mainly in relation to noise.
The QEH apologises for the inconvenience which may be caused and urges staff, patients, and visitors to be patient, as the scheduled construction work is completed over the three-day period.
The QEH also thanks members of the public for their understanding as it moves ahead over the next few months with the final phase of the AED expansion programme.
