The staff and students of the Ann Hill School will host a career showcase tomorrow, Tuesday, November 1, at the institution, Pine Plantation Road, St. Michael.
Principal Emelda Bell and Senior Education Officer (Student Support Services) at the Ministry of Education, Technological and Vocational Training, Kaye Sargeant, will address the opening of the event, at 10:00 a.m. The aim of the showcase is to expose the children to viable career opportunities in Barbados.
There will be booths on display from The Barbados Police Service, Barbados Defence Force, the Barbados Fire Service, the Samuel Jackman Prescod Institute of Technology, the Career Development Institute, as well as various entrepreneurs.
Members of the public are invited to view the displays and visit the school.
