Attorney General Dale Marshall has expressed concern about the recent bomb threats which were sent to schools.

Mr. Marshall voiced his concerns today on the sidelines of the special sitting, at the Supreme Court, for the admission of lawyers to practise here.

When asked by the media to comment, the Attorney General noted that threats of any kinds of explosive are a grievous disruptor.

“Our experience has always been that these are pranks that are played by people, but in every instance, you have to take it seriously. So, the police have to go in; the police have to close down the premises, [and] disrupt the school or the business house, whatever it is….

“So, we have now another set of lawlessness in our society that we have to address,” Mr. Marshall stated. He noted that The Barbados Police Service is currently investigating the threats and he would await what the investigations reveal.
