Students and post-doctoral researchers, non-profit organisations, community-based organisations, government agencies, academia, and private sector entities are invited to submit applications for grants to support environmental conservation and sustainable development in Barbados.

Grants from the BESF range from BDS $10,000 to $300,000.

The BESF was incorporated in April 2022, as a nonprofit organisation under the Companies Act of Barbados. It was created as a long-term financing mechanism to support the island’s environmental conservation and sustainability efforts.

The deadline for submitting concept notes or applications is Sunday, September 29, at 11:59 p.m.
