In an effort to ensure that its staff and students are well prepared for any emergency, the Bay Primary School will this week test its safety systems.

The school, which has an emergency operations plan in place, will test the Intruder/Shooter aspect of this plan on Thursday, June 23.

The school, located at Bay Gardens, Bayville, St. Michael, usually undertakes a fire drill once a term. The intruder/shooter drill will be conducted for the first time.

The drill starts at 9:45 a.m., and will be preceded by an addressed by Principal, Marielon Gamble; and Information Technology Coordinator, Franz Warner-Harris.
