Residents of St. Andrew and the City of Bridgetown are encouraged to serve their communities as part of the District Emergency Organisation (DEO).
On Saturday, October 29, there will be a meeting for residents of the City at The St. Michael School, Martindales Road, St. Michael, while St. Andrew residents will have their meeting at the A. DaCosta Edwards Primary School, Belleplaine, St. Andrew, on Sunday, October 30. Both meetings begin at 4:30 p.m.
During the meetings residents will learn more about how they can benefit from becoming a member of the DEO in their area, and how to assist their community during an emergency. All are invited.
