Camp Reach, which catered to 30 children with Special Needs from Monday, July 24, will come to a close on Friday, August 25.
A collaborative effort between the National Disabilities Unit (NDU) and the National Summer Camp Programme of the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment, it will conclude with an Open Day, on Wednesday, August 23.
The Open Day will run from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the grounds of the NDU, at Lower Collymore Rock, St. Michael.
Campers will showcase the diverse activities in which they participated and there will be a variety of entertainment. Parents, guardians as well as other well-wishers are expected to be in attendance to assist camp staffers and support the children.
