(Financial Literacy Bureau)

Business owners and those looking to start their own enterprises will get the opportunity to learn more about setting the price for their goods and how this can determine their profits at the Financial Literacy Bureau’s (FLB) next virtual clinic.

It will be held on Tuesday, February 7, and the facilitator will be Principal Consultant with Strategic Consulting and Advisory Services, Colin Daniel, who will discuss the topic: Costing 101 – Simple Steps To Costing Your Product or Service.

The session, which begins at 6:00 p.m. on Zoom, is aimed at teaching participants how to determine the cost for their products or services and set the prices for them. It will also examine whether poor costing and prices are affecting the profits of businesses.

At the end of the discussion, attendees will be given tips to avoid the pitfalls many business owners may encounter when costing and pricing their products.

Participants may register at http://bit.ly/J8Z3ml. The public may follow the clinics on Facebook and Instagram @FLB.246.  For further information on the clinics, interested persons should call the Ministry of Energy and Business at 535-7700, or email flb.246@barbados.gov.bb. They may also log on to www.commerce.gov.bb.
