It will take place on the grounds of the Baobab Tower, Warrens, St. Michael, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Co-op mart will be hosted by the Co-operatives Department, Ministry of Energy and Business.

Some of the items on sale will include agricultural produce; plants; clothing; art and craft; natural drinks; several jewellery styles, including pieces crafted by Rachel Clement Sea Glass Accessories, and bath and body care products.  Refreshments will also be on sale.

There will be free health checks by the Diabetes and Hypertension Association of Barbados, while a representative of Pan-American International Insurance Corporation will share information on insurance.

Those visiting co-op mart during the morning will be treated to vegetarian food samples provided by Pinnacle Co-operative Society Limited, and pork samples from the Pig Farmers’ Co-operative, prepared by Dr. Phil’s Kitchen.
