The Commission for Pan-African Affairs will host the inaugural Global Mabalozi Conference under the theme: Self-Reparations: The Self-Esteem, Identity and Education of the African Descended Child.
It will be held next Tuesday, July 10, at the Daphne Joseph Hackett Theatre, Queen’s Park, The City, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Activities planned for the day will include presentations by local, regional and international experts on identity, race, class, gender and their relationship to self-esteem in black children. The critical importance, aim, approach and structure of the Mabalozi programme will also feature on the agenda.
