Members of the public are invited to attend a series of community meetings to discuss CARIFESTA XIII.
The first two meetings will take place on Tuesday, May 16, at the Queen’s Park Steel Shed; and Thursday, May 18, at the Alexandra School, Speightstown, St. Peter, at 6:00 p.m. on both days.
The meetings, hosted by the CARIFESTA Secretariat, will examine the specific events that will comprise the festival, such as the signal and national events and the community fringe programme.
The Secretariat will also outline the objectives of the events and provide persons with information on how they may participate in CARIFESTA XIII.
Discussion will be led by the CARIFESTA Secretariat’s Programme Coordinator, Kim Butcher, and other members of the secretariat, as well as sponsors, will also be available to answer questions.
All interested persons are encouraged to attend in order to have a better understanding of how they may participate in the festival.
