A number of classes will be held this month for persons living in Christ Church and The City of Bridgetown.

This is because the Constituency Councils in those areas will host self-improvement training courses for residents who are unemployed or desirous of learning new skills.

In The City of Bridgetown, classes will be held in the areas of Nail Technology, Basic Cookery, and there will be a reading programme for children. All courses will be held at the Salvation Army Headquarters, Reed Street, The City.

Meanwhile, the Christ Church West Central Constituency Council is scheduled to host similar courses for its residents in the areas of Soap Making, Hair Braiding, Wig Making and Sign Language. These courses will be held at the Aberdeen Jones Centre, Gall Hill, Christ Church.

The deadline for registration for all courses is Friday, May 11. Interested persons may call Oriel Nicholls at the Department of Constituency Empowerment at 535-1639, or 836-0572, for further information.
